To log in to classic SmartMusic
- Open classic SmartMusic, or if classic SmartMusic is already open, click Home. The log in screen appears.
- Type your email address or username and password.
- To let classic SmartMusic remember your email address, select the Remember Me check box.
- To let classic SmartMusic keep you logged in to classic SmartMusic until you manually log out, select the Keep me logged in check box.
- Click Log In.
To get a new password sent to the e-mail address on your account, click Forgot your password, type your email address, and then click Reset Password.
If the Create Profile screen appears, click here.
The Create Profile screen only appears the first time you log in.
- Click the button that best describes how you use classic SmartMusic. The Set Up Account screen appears.
- Add the requested information to your account, and then click Save Changes.
If your account does not have a current SmartMusic subscription, click here.
The This account does not have a SmartMusic subscription screen appears in classic SmartMusic after you:
- Log in to an account that does not have an active classic SmartMusic subscription.
- Create an account within the classic SmartMusic program on a computer that is not pinned with a Practice Room Subscription.
- If you received a subscription code from somebody else, click the redeem your code link.
- If you have an active subscription that you were able to use earlier this year, you'll need to get it transferred to this account.
- If you don't need a subscription because you'll use classic SmartMusic on a pinned practice room computer, use the class enrollment link provided from your teacher to set up your account and enroll in class.
Educators using only Practice Room Subscriptions can have their students create an account and enroll in a class by using a class enrollment link.
Once logged in, My Home appears. If you're a student enrolled in one class, the class screen for your class appears.
Educators are now able to set up classes, create assignments, and grade assignments, and students are ready to enroll in class and then complete assignments.
